CARY, N.C. — August 4, 2014 — Medfusion, a leading provider of patient portal software for more than 9 million patients, announced today it was selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in the Triangle” for 2014 by the Triangle Business Journal.
The momentum experienced during Medfusion’s first year back as an independent company has driven its recent success and selection for this annual honor. Winners were chosen based on an employee survey process by Quantum Workplace, requiring nominated companies to meet a threshold in employee participation determined by the company’s size.
“Our employees at Medfusion love what they do and where they work, and this recognition represents that passion,” said Vern Davenport, president and equity partner of Medfusion. “We have worked hard to build a culture that inspires people to innovate, and we are committed to continuing to hire and retain people that fit in that culture. It is a true honor to be included with other great organizations throughout the Research Triangle.”
This recognition of employee satisfaction coincides with a rise in the company’s customer satisfaction, which resulted in a 13 percent rise in Net Promoter Score since first quarter.
“We believe our business success and the customer satisfaction we see are the direct results of the values and passion within our corporate team,” said Steve Malik, CEO and chairman of Medfusion. “It is our utmost priority to provide a work environment conducive to maintaining a strong culture that enables the most productive outcomes for our customers, patients who use our technology and employees in our organization.”
The 50 winners of this award will be recognized at an event on Sept. 26, 2014 at the Durham Convention Center. The Triangle Business Journal will also publish a special section on the winners in the print edition of its newspaper that day. Other companies chosen include Caterpillar Inc., EMC Corporation, Linda Craft & Team Realtors and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
